Flux Launches FluxCore Beta To Enhance Compute-Efficiency and Boost AI Technology

Flux Announces Launch of FluxCore Beta

Flux, a prominent provider of global infrastructure encompassing cloud hosting, artificial intelligence, and tech-enabled decentralized solutions, has officially unveiled FluxCore Beta. This launch signifies the successful transition from the Alpha trial phase, which commenced on December 15, 2023. FluxCore is an innovative application utilizing Proof of Useful Work (PoUW) technology, designed to tackle computational challenges by linking the varying demands of today’s technology-centric society with the extensive, yet often idle, capacities of available GPU and CPU resources. This application serves as a vital framework for Flux’s unique approach to utilizing computational power effectively.

Maximizing Resource Utilization

The application effectively bridges the gap in infrastructure by enabling users to assess their machine’s performance and effortlessly offer their underused GPU resources on the FluxEdge Marketplace. This platform allows clients to optimize these resources for applications such as video rendering, cloud gaming, artificial intelligence, and other resource-intensive tasks. Additionally, the application includes a mining module, allowing users to mine cryptocurrency directly with their machines during periods when they are not being utilized for customer rentals.

Improvements in FluxCore Beta

In response to user feedback from the initial Alpha version, FluxCore Beta introduces several enhancements, including a Dark mode, Console access, personalized overclocking settings for specific GPUs, and compatibility with new AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards. Furthermore, CPU mining is now supported, and users can conveniently toggle between CPU and GPU mining modes through an updated mining overview tab. All improvements from FluxCore Alpha will also be incorporated into the Beta version.

CEO Comments on Scalability Solutions

“FluxCore provides a crucial solution to the current scalability issues threatening to limit the vast potential of emerging technologies such as AI and other compute-heavy projects. Our software capitalizes on the available GPU and CPU resources in the market, making them accessible to clients who require them most. During the Alpha phase, we recorded over 19,000 benchmarks across 5,217 GPUs, with more than 3,000 machines actively participating. Today, I am thrilled to announce the launch of FluxCore Beta—a more powerful and optimized version that will fundamentally change our approach to computational power. With FluxCore, we aim to reshape the future by making computational resources readily available through decentralized channels,” stated Daniel Keller, CEO and Co-Founder of Influx Technologies Limited.

About Flux

The Flux Web3 cloud represents a decentralized computing service and blockchain-as-a-service offering, creating an interoperable and decentralized development environment comparable to AWS or Google Cloud. It operates using a native Proof-of-Work (PoW) coin to fuel its ecosystem, which incentivizes hardware providers, ensures on-chain governance, and mitigates risks associated with bad actors through staking requirements for hardware operation. The Flux operating system, built on Linux, supplies the network with verified and benchmarked high-availability computing power while leveraging blockchain technology to maintain transparency in governance processes. Flux Cloud is recognized as the world’s most comprehensive and decentralized cloud infrastructure.
